Important - please read and understand the following before placing an order

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.  By placing an order it is assumed that you have read and agreed to our Terms and Conditions of Sale. 

PRODUCT INFORMATION

All information presented in the various Relics catalogues, leaflets,  verbally or on our web sites is given in good faith.  All images, descriptive matter and specifications on our sites have been obtained from the manufacturer or supplier and are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods, these are intended as a guide only.  Relics will endeavour to ensure that the information on the web site is as accurate and up to date as possible, however Relics cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages.

Since skill of application, use and site conditions are beyond our control Relics can accept no responsibility for the performance of any product arising from such use beyond the value of the goods delivered by us. This does not affect your statutory rights.

PLACING AN ORDER

Our contract

When placing an order via the Internet to purchase a product from Relics e-Commerce, we will send you confirmation of receipt of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted as a contract by us when we send confirmation of receipt of your order.

Your Information

On placing your order please ensure that the details you provide us with are correct and complete, include your full address including post code and a day-time telephone number which will be passed to our carrier for use in the event that they have difficulty in delivering your order.  It is your responsibility to inform us immediately of any change to the information that you provided when ordering. 

Your details will not be passed on to a third party other than to a carrier for delivery purposes.

Delivery

Delivery of your item will be by a carrier who will require a signature.  When ordering, please carefully consider your delivery address.  As we deliver our items through a third party, we cannot be held responsible for this third party nor can we guarantee a time during the day for delivery.

Relics e-Commerce cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of items where an incorrect address has been given.   In the event that items cannot be delivered due to incorrect information being given they will be returned to Relics and you will be contacted to ascertain the correct information.  An additional postage charge will be applicable to send the items back to you.

In the unlikely event that an item has been damaged during transit, please contact us within 2 working days either by e-mail at sales@tapsshop.co.uk.  Your prompt response means we can arrange a replacement quickly.

COOLING-OFF PERIOD

At Relics e-Commerce we want you to be happy with our products and service. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items. If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase or you change your mind, you can return it to us for a full refund.

To cancel your purchase under this cooling-off period, please inform us in writing (by letter, fax or preferably by e-mail), giving the reason for the return as "contract cancellation" within 7 days of the date you receive the item.  You will be contacted by us and given a returns number.  Items must be returned to us in a saleable condition and in their original packaging, therefore please package the item securely and send it with a covering note, stating the returns number. You will be responsible for bearing the cost of returning the items to us.  We will issue a full refund of the items and the original postage cost to you when we receive the items.  

For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service to return good.

 

REFUND POLICY

After the cooling-off period a refund will be made for items returned to us within 30 days of receipt and a re-stocking charge of 15% will be deducted from the refund. Relics will not refund the original carriage charge or any expense incurred returning the item to us unless the item purchased is faulty or damaged. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Refunds will be processed on receipt of the item in an acceptable condition.  Where payment has been made by credit or debit card, the refund will be credited to the card.  If payment has been by cheque, a cheque will be forwarded to you.

 

RETURNS PROCEDURE

Please follow the steps below to enable us to process your refund quickly:

  • Contact us to advise of the items to be returned, a member of staff will contact you with a refund number.

  • Wrap the item securely in its original packaging and any additional packaging necessary to return it to us in perfect condition, include a note detailing the reason for return and include the refund number.

  • In the case of a faulty product, please provide a full description of the fault

  • Send the package to the address advised at the time of contact.

 For your protection we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service.

  

FAULTY ITEMS

In the unlikely event of your item being faulty or damaged please notify us by e-mail to sales@tapsshop.co.uk in writing, giving a full description of the fault/damage.  You will be contacted by a member of staff to advise you on the return or replacement of the item.

  

PRICING AND AVAILABILITY

Prices

The price you pay is the price that is displayed on the web site at the time of your order; this price will be confirmed to you verbally in the case of telephone orders or on your order confirmation when ordering by e-commerce.  Price increases subsequent to your order will be carried by Relics e-Commerce.

Availability

We will always aim to despatch your goods to you within the time specified on the web site.  However, if for reasons beyond our control the items are unavailable we will notify you by e-mail with an anticipated delivery time.  You will be given an option of waiting for the item to become available or cancelling your order.

  

 EVENTS BEYOND OUR REASONABLE CONTROL

Relics cannot be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause that is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

 

WAIVER

If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.

 

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
